SÁRVÁR HAS REAL TREASURES FOR US…

Sárvár is a picturesque little town on the bank

of the River Rába, near the Austrian border,

200 kms from Budapest. The settlement was

established by the Romans and they called

it Bassiana, however, there was an earhtwork

fort on this site in the ancient times.

In the XVIIth century, the Nádasdy family

elevated the town to a real cultural cen-

tre, shaping the image of the castle and

protecting it until the present day, just few

minutes’ walk from the hotel. The nearby

romantic arboretum and the seven lakes

next to the hotel invite you to walk or pad-

dle. Due to the crystal clear air, the unspoilt

nature and the medicinal waters springing

from the depth of the earth, Sárvár is a

spa town known throughout Europe and

Besides the “Spirit Medicinal Water” with its

temperature of 46 degrees Celsius, springing

from a depth of 1056 meters, a special, salty

medicinal water from an even deeper layer of

the earth also serves healing and regenera-

tive purposes. The wells of waters born in the

womb of Mother Earth, have been sacred

healing sites of the humanity for thousands

of years, where this elemental force facilitates

purification and rebirth. Our thermal pools

filled with the unique chemical free “Spirit

Medicinal Water” are refreshed each day,

and the salty medicinal water baths rich in

minerals also provide excellent opportuni-

ties for traditional balneo-therapeutic and the

most modern physiotherapeutic treatments.

a silent shelter. The authentic Turkish bath, the Hamam and the professional sauna
