the spirit is ready, but the flesh is sick
Here I am. Today. Probably tomorrow too.
But already I feel death in my body, and one day I will be gone.
Brief. Mortal. Irrelevant. I have no power to change this.
How other is eternal love! Everlasting in being.
Force and direction of the universe.
My father.
I know him through the one who calls me brother.
He shows me my father.
Because of my brother I reject fear, whether hate, or anger, or loneliness.
I choose the binding power of love instead.
Love for my father. Love for my brother. … and love for you too.
My brother is helping my self to die, so that the life of my father
can be unrestrained within me.
He is very patient.
