A Campaign of the Advancement Foundation
The first aspect of the Vision 2020 renovation has taken place with the removal of the garage. Here is also another example of the im-pact our social outreach services have on families. This week we helped an elderly client with her electric bill. She is very frugal but her only income is $1707 each month. With medical bills and the cost of living she must make many difficult decisions each month to be able to pay all her bills. She was very grateful for the payment of her $116 electric bill. Thank you to the parishioners who tithe to make this act of mercy possible.

Book of Remembrance for our Deceased Libro de Memorial por Los Difuntos
We will pray for our deceased family and friends during the month of November. You may add the names of your loved ones to the Book of Remembrance located under the statue of Pope Pius X. You are also welcome to bring framed pictures of your deceased loved ones, to be placed in the altar located in the entrance of the church, beginning this Sunday.

No Parking in Fire Lanes
Parking is prohibited in zones marked in red (No Parking/Fire Lanes) to ensure the access of safety equipment to the structure in the event of an emergency. Fire Lanes help ensure that firefighters can do their job quickly. Please help us keep fire lanes always clear of parked or standing cars.
The NRH Police will begin issuing citations to any vehiclefound parked in the areas marked in red (No Parking/Fire Lane).

Las Posadas
Las Posadas are celebrated with a series of nine nightly processions that remind us of the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem and their search for lodging. Each night a host family will receive the pilgrims in their home, with caroling and a rosary, followed by a piñata and candy for the children. St. John the Apostle Parish invites our community to participate in Las Posadas, which begin on Monday, December 16, 2019 and continue through Tuesday, December 24, 2019, Christmas Eve. On October 28, 2019 the movie Love and Mercy: Faustina will be showing for only one day in theaters. The film is a docudrama on Divine Mercy and the mission of Sr. Faustina Kowalska, and reveals previously unknown facts and recently disclosed documents that shed new light on the truth of the Divine Mercy message. Remember all those gifts were God-given. Instead we should be humbled by God’s abundant generosity and our hearts should overflow with gratitude.
