Our membership has doubled in the last three years, largely due to top quality and nationally known speakers, active and engaged members and sponsor involvement. The Minnesota chapter was selected as the ISSA International Chapter of the Year in 2016. By being a sponsor, you have an opportunity to interact with decision influencers and meet a large cross-section of the Minnesota cybersecurity community. Our chapter depends on sponsors who make it possible for us to have chapter meetings and provide valuable events for the community. Memberships, through chapter dues, defray only a small portion of the operating costs for our chapter. Sponsors provide the majority of the funding needed for MN ISSA to educate and inform the security community. Facts about the ISSA Minnesota Chapter:

ABOUT The Minnesota chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (MN ISSA) is a not-for-profit organization of information security professionals and practitioners focused on promoting a secure digital world. Our goal is to be the community of choice for cybersecurity professionals dedicated to advancing individual growth, managing technology risk and protecting critical information and infrastructure. We accomplish this by providing educational forums, publications, and peer interaction opportunities that enhance the knowledge, skill, and professional growth of our members.

HOST AN AFTER HOURS EVENT

These meetings are after work hours at local establishments and held in different parts of the Mpls/St. Paul Metro. Lasts 2.5-3 hours with one presentation provided by host (1-1.5 hours) and the rest is networking. Typically draws 40+ individuals. Hosting costs may be split at hosts discretion. Cost: $1500.

SECURITY CAREER INSIGHTS LUNCH & LEARNS

Everybody’s path within a rewarding cyber security career is different. These lunch and learns aim to educate attendees and provide career advice for them to use as a tool to build their own career. Draws 50-75 individuals at all levels of the organization and is held 3-4 times per year. MN ISSA identifies you as the host of complimentary food/drinks.Cost: $1500.

POST-MEETING HAPPY HOURS

Follows our Chapter meetings, attendees are invited to join us at a local establishment for additional networking, which draws 20-30+ individuals. MN ISSA identifies you as the host of complimentary food/drinks and you have the opportunity to network with attendees during the happy hour. Cost: Variable depending on how much you choose to order.

General Chapter Sponsorship provides priority to host events.

5-minute sponsor spotlight at Chapter Meetings.
