CARDIOVASCULAR RESEARCH FOUNDATIONT e CardioVascular Research Foundation (CVRF) is a non-profit clinical research foundation that seeks to contribute in improving the lives

of patients with cardiovascular disease by promoting preclinical and clinical researches, educating physicians and teaching patients.

Since its establishment in 2002 and its affiliation with the Asan Medical Center in Seoul, Korea, CVRF has been conducting and supporting

a large number of outstanding clinical researches to help conquer cardiovascular disease through Data Coordinating Center, QCA

(Quantitative Coronary Angiographic) and IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) Core Laboratories based on internationally standardized clinical

research centers. The foundation has been also sharing cutting edge knowledge and educating physicians and other professionals

by holding international conferences, running educative websites and committing to various physician training programs.

The CVRF will do its best to develop innovative technologies and educate professionals and the public related to the cardiovascular field

through its vast experience and knowledge obtained by ongoing research activities, scientific conferences, educative websites and various

training programs. By achieving these goals, the CVRF is dedicated to increase the survival rate and the quality of life for patients who

suffer from cardiovascular disease and its medication.

Booth Design ChangeAll exhibitors are required to get approval from the official exhibitioncontractor for any change in their booth design.

Set-up and DecorationAny decorating items or equipment(Lighting, AV) should be installed atexhibitors’ expenses and these should not disturb other booths. Everyitem and equipment should not be inflammable.

Display of ExhibitionDisplayed items must be kept in the designated area. Displayed itemsshould not create any inconveniences to visitors and should be kept atleast 30cm away from the booth line. If exhibitors fail to comply with thisrule, the official exhibition contractor can demand those items to berelocated. This rule is designed to give an equal opportunity to everyexhibitor in terms of space and visibility.

DisturbancesExhibitors should not create trouble or disturbances to the show ornearby booths.

Restrictions on Sound VolumeExhibitors may use audio equipment for promotion. The sound level mustbe less than 85dbs to avoid disturbing other booth activities. The officialexhibition contractor may intervene to restrict the use if there is anycomplaint. Exhibitors are required to report any audio equipment whatthey will use during the event. If there is any equipment that makes soundlouder than 85dbs, users can be asked to stop using.

Property DamagesExhibitors are not allowed to drive nails and screws into the walls orfloors, and to use any indelible painting which can damage floors, roofs orraw materials of the booth. Those who doesn’t comply with these rulesmust compensate for the damages.

SafetyExhibitors should take necessary safety measures before using dangerous equipment during the event in order to prevent accidents. Each exhibitor is responsible for the maintenance and safety of their equipment including containers of hazardous material, x-ray generating machines, inflammable and explosive substance, high-voltage equipment, radioactive material, accelerators and liquid mercury.

Hazardous MaterialsAny dangerous exhibits or items should be reported to get the permissionfrom the safeguards of COEX before taking in. Exhibitors are required totake necessary safety measures.For detailed information, please contact the official exhibition contractor.

1) Naked Flame‘Naked flame’ is equipment, such as a heater, an oven, a boiler,a microwave, a dryer, and a fry pan, to be used with the inflammablematerials.

2) Definition of ‘Hazardous Materials’ A) Oil of Grade 1: gasoline, lacquer, alcohol, etc. Oil of Grade 2: lamp oil, light oil, etc. Oil of Grade3 : heavy oil, diesel oil, machinery oil, etc. Oil of Grade 4: lubricating oil, animal oil, vegetable oil etc B) High Pressure Gas Fuel : Oxygen, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Cobalt, etc. *Note : Propane gas can not be brought in the Exhibition Hall. Exhibitor must submit the Application for Handling Hazardous Materials in order to use it.

3) Fabric & Inflammable Materials- The quantity for Move in and storage is limited per day.- The usage of fuel with larger energy consumption is limited.- The pipelines of fuel must be nonflammable. The storage tank and pipeline must be fixed.- The fire protective screen must be set up between hazardous materials and fire using materials.

Non-SmokingSmoking is prohibited inside all buildings.

LightsFlashlights and revolving light equipment are strictly prohibited. Lightsfrom one booth should not disturb or damage other booths.

WiringWiring in booths and displaying items should be done in compliance withthe relevant rules and regulations of Korea (Article 3). It applies same tothe construction of display facilities.

Pathway MaintenanceExhibitors should keep its pathway clean at all times. All materials anditems should be placed in the designated area and exhibitors need to becareful not to pile goods up in the aisle.

CleaningTCTAP official exhibition contractor will keep the hallways and sharedspace clean before and after the show and also take care of trash binsduring the event. All wastes produced during the booth constructionshould be removed by the exhibitors at their expenses.

PR ActivitiesAll demonstrations and promotional activities are only permitted in thedesignated area and authorized booths to avoid any disorder, andexhibitors should hence clear the pathways and the surrounding area.Exhibitors must obtain exceptional approval from TCTAP Secretariat formarketing activities such as holding conferences or exhibition andhanding out samples or gifts outside the designated area.

Sales RegulationUnauthorized ads and sales are prohibited.

Sub-leasingExhibitors are not allowed to sell or sublet the booth to anyone withoutapproval from TCTAP Secretariat.Parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries are exceptions.

RecruitmentExhibitors are not allowed to carry items, signboards and brochures forrecruitment purpose.

Special ExhibitionIndividual exhibitors are not allowed to host another exhibition,before and after the exhibition hours, without an approval from TCTAP Secretariat.

Illegal Exhibit ProductsIllegal reproduction of exhibit items or any forgeries are strictly prohibited.If the organizer insists the exhibitors to leave the exhibition hall or todiscard the copied items, the exhibitors should move out without anycomplaint. If any lawful actions take place during or pre & post the showperiod, the exhibitors should take full responsibility of legal matters underthe laws of the Republic of Korea.

Show HoursTCTAP Secretariat has the authority to set up exhibition schedulesincluding installation and dismantling of the booth. Exhibitors are notallowed to dismantle their booth before the show officially ends.

Occupant's ObligationExhibitors should pay the full amount of their booth space that theysigned up for the contract under any circumstances. Those who fail tomeet the deadlines for displaying items, TCTAP Secretariat obtains therights to use those booths for other purposes. Furthermore, exhibitorswho fail to inform booth cancellation to the secretariat will lose theirpreferential rights to the booths.

OthersCOEX can make an order of dismantling for the booths and exhibits thatare not suitable to the regulation. The inspection will be conductedfrequently during the exhibition period.
