The SHSD 161 Basketball Team is Forming Now - Get In On the Action! Our district team will attempt to beat the Harlem Wizards or at least have a ball trying, while raising money for the SHEF. A little competition is good for the show but ultimately, we want people who don’t mind breaking a sweat and having a good laugh.

Who are the Harlem Wizards?
A professional entertainment basketball team comprised of players with illustrious college and professional basketball careers. Each player brings their unique talent and humor to the court. Don’t worry though, they will only have 6 or 7 players against our squad of 20 – 30 players. To see them in action please view the following video:

SHEF would like to extend many thanks to the community for all their support throughout the years with helping raise money for our students at District 161. Throughout the year this section will highlight things that are happening in the community, certain community businesses that give back to our school district or events that are happening within our own schools.
Due to the Dominick’s corporation closing, the eScrip program will also be going away once the store’s close. SHEF will continue to receive eScrip contributions up until the store’s close but there has been a change in the program. As of, November 1st, in order to continue earning from Dominick's eScrip program, you will need to pay for your groceries with one of the following payment types:
Of course, you can pay for your groceries with a credit card, but the purchase will not generate contributions for SHEF. Last year SHEF raised $17,169 in contributions from the eScrip program!

The Arbury Hills SCO , otherwise known as STARS, is hosting a Ladies Night Out! It will take place on Thursday, November 14th from 7:00-9:00 pm in the multi-purpose room at Arbury Hills School. Please come out and join the fun! For every shopper that attends, their name will be placed into a drawing for a free massage or facial from Massage Envy.
