Coming Project

Background

Guangzhou has a large immigrated population. These group of people

come to Guangzhou from other areas in Guangdong or other provinces

to find opportunities. They may have gained something from

Guangzhou but at the same time they may have paid much for this gain.

Many children of these families live in underprivileged conditions and

need help and care. They may feel excluded because they hold different

cultures, including accent, cuisine, festival customs and so on. They can

just study in migrant workers’ schools which lack of good and proper

education resources because they haven’t registered to be permanent

residents and their parents’ salaries are usually lower than the average.

Job Description •Design and give active and creative lessons of kinds of topics (culture, environmental protection, security, etc.) to migrant children •Visit some family to record their lives and know what they need so that they can write some articles to promote in the public through internet, newspapers or magazines. •Organize a big-scale event with a team(e.g., Global Village, Sport meeting) to arouse social awareness of this kind of children.
