CaterpillarMost caterpillars are herbivores, which means they only eat plants.Caterpillars can be found in many different habitats all over the world. Caterpillars are preparing themselves for the chrysalis stage.Click here to go back to the menu!

EggsThe yolk of the egg nourishes the larva that is inside. Whenever the larva is ready to hatch, it eats its way out of the egg.After hatching, the larva will usually eat the egg and the leaf that it was hatched on.
