The device has logging capabilities (up to 100 samples) and can export directly to an Excel spread- sheet. Field level testing is made easier with an onboard lithium ion battery to power the device for up to 7 hours . The tester also includes a waterproof carrying case, 6’ self- sealing test hose, DILO DN8 & DN20 couplings, and all accesso- ries and software necessary to con- nect the device to a computer. The rule requires reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emis-sions from large sources and suppliers in the United States, and is intended to collect accu-rate and timely emissions data to inform future policy deci-sions.

The new recovery bag system will be a lightweight, low cost alternative to the discharge recovery system currently available from DILO. Instead of relying on complex plumb-ing and a compressor to cap-ture the exhausted SF6 from test equipment, the bag will allow the gas to flow naturally

from the device. This passive system will feature a durable 5 mil FEP Fluoropolymer gas sampling bag that is resis-tant to corrosive chemicals that could be found in faulted SF6. The FEP bag will be housed in a protective canvas bag, which will also store the adapter fittings and
connecting hose.
The gas can then be removed from the bag using an exist-ing DILO recovery system, or with an optional portable compressor unit -transferring directly to a high-pressure cyl-inder.
