Dialysis Technician (50 hrs)This 50-hour programprovides studentswith the knowledge and skills needed to perform theduties required of a Dialysis Technician. These duties include: operating a kidney dialysis

Certified Phlebotomy Technician (80 hrs)

This comprehensive 80 hour program will prepare students to work as a pharmacy technician in aHospital, retail or other pharmacy setting and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board’sPTCB exam. Course content includes: pharmacy medical terminology, the history of pharmacy, thepharmacy practice in multiple environments, pharmacy calculations and measurements, readingand interpreting prescriptions and defining drugs by generic and brand names. Through classroomlecture and hands on labs, students will review dosage calculations, drug classifications, the “top200 drugs”, I.V. flow rates, sterile compounding, dose conversions, aseptic technique, the handlingof sterile products, total parental nutrition (TPN), dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control andbilling and reimbursement. This program will train students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clin-ical responsibilities of a medical office. Refund Policy: Request for a refund must be submitted in writing together with a copy of the registration receipt. Yourrefund will be mailed within three (3) weeks of submission. Lack of attendance does not constitute withdrawal and eli-gibility for a refund. 100% refund is issued only if a class is cancelled by the college. Registration fees are non refund-able unless class is canceled by the College.
