RAIN COLOUR FASHION
Lisbeth Lillebøe is a gifted designer borned and raised in Bergen on the west coast of Norway – a city famous all over the world for its average of 213 days of rain and wind per year.
Quite early in her design career she wondered: why should modern urban women walking in the rain look like fishermen in their shapeless dark green or bright yellow “oil skin” coats? Why should they not look fashionable, colourful, elegant and cheerful under such weather conditions?
This became the start of the Blæst concept:
“Rain colour fashion by Lillebøe”
Blæst is colourful, quality rainwear that is beautifully fashionable. Coats and accessories that you can wear in any kind of weather - even in sunshine, and still feel comfortable and well dressed. The perfect outfit when leaving home not knowing what weather conditions you are going to face during the day.
Blæst comes in 3 collections: women’s, men’s and children’s and is widely distributed by leading fashion stores in more than 20 countries over 4 continents.
Blæst is produced to the highest quality and according to EU environmental standards. The rain jackets have received the Good Design Award from the Norwegian Design Council.
BLÆST women. Rain jackets and sou’westers in 100% PVC, for the busy city woman, size XS–XXL (Blæst Plus Size 42–56). They are all lined, come with a hood and the seams are sealed. Waterproof, water repellant and windproof. Stays soft and comfortable even in very cold weather.
BLÆST men. Sporty and casual rainwear in 100% PVC for men, size 46–56. They are all lined and the seams are welded. Waterproof, water repellant and windproof. Stays soft and comfortable even in very cold weather.
BLÆST Tec. Women’s size XS–XXL (Blæst Plus Size 42–56). Coats in Poly Mechanical Stretch with sealed seams. Breathable (8000 gm/24hrs.), windproof, water repellant and waterproof (water column 8000 mm). Stays soft and comfortable even in very cold weather. Manufactured according to Oeko-tex standard 100.
BLÆST KniTwear. Knittet cardigan in Blæst design, 50/50 cotton/acrylic to keep its shape after prolonged use.
BLÆST ruBBer BooTS. Made by Viking Footwear AS, the leading Norwegian rubber boot manufacturer, founded in 1920. They specialize in making top quality, waterproof footwear for use in demanding conditions. The Blæst rubber boots are made according to design specifications from designer Lisbeth Lillebøe.
All Blæst garments can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Do not use softener or tumble drier.
