Amager Bakke/Copenhill, Copenhagen Skovbadet, Aarhus Ø French speaking architecture, planning or landscape architecture students Spring 2019 SLA IS LOOKING FOR INTERNS For the spring semester 2019 we are looking for a French speaking intern for our office in Copenhagen. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work both nationally and internationally in different scales and phases. We will make sure to tailor an internship that matches your professional qualifications, ambitions and wishes. Previous interns have worked with the winning proposal for Norway’s new Government Quarter; city nature and urban spaces in Detroit; climate adaptation of Copenhagen’s first climate resilient neighbourhood; and a wide range of competitions and projects in Scandinavia, Asia and the US. We guarantee a dynamic and varied workday in a creative, young and ambitious work environment. You will be assigned great responsibility and work closely together with interdisciplinary colleagues. We prefer first time interns and expect you to be engaged in studies in architecture, landscape architecture or planning and for you to have finished your Bachelor degree. Due to Collective Agreements, it is not possible for us to accept candidates with a Master’s degree for internship positions. We expect you to: • Be a quick learner and work well both in teams and independently • Be creative and good at visualizing ideas either by hand, on screen or in the model room • Be well versed in Adobe, AutoCad, and 3D programmes • Be accommodating and curious • Have a green beating heart • Have strong English and French skills SLA is an internationally renowned urban planning and landscape architecture studio. With a nature-based design approach SLA aims to create liveable, diverse cities with genuine amenity values and smart climate adaptation. Through the last 20 years SLA has realized urban spaces and development plans both internationally and nationally. Today SLA engages 70 employees in offices in Copenhagen, Oslo and Aarhus. The internship pays 6,000 dkk per month in Denmark or 15.000 nok in Norway and you will work 37 hours a week. The internship has a duration of approximately 5 months, starting around the 4th of February, possibly earlier.
