SCANDINAVIAN SPECIALTIES

The Spring 2020 collection is inspired by 18th century designs from a small factory in the village

of Jouy in France. There unique printed fabric of cotton and landscape emerged with complex

landscapes and figures. These designs were originally printed from woodblocks and copper

plates. Over the centuries, the classic designs have remained immensely popular and stand the

test of time as important staples in the worlds of art and fashion.

SAGUARO 1

The Saguaro design was originally designed as a series of

Liberty Magazine covers. In the 1970’s the design was

translated into a stained glass window for the entrance

of the Arizona Biltmore Resort. The piece entitled

“Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers” is today one of

Wrights most popular designs.

MIDWAY GARDENS MURAL

Adapted from the details of a mural from Midway

Gardens—once an entertainment complex in

Chicago. Wright personally designed all elements

in the complex Including art glass, light fixtures,

furniture and murals.

TREE OF LIFE

One of Wright’s most famous motifs, this opus

of symmetry is found in the Darwin D. Martin

house and has been widely influential in art and

architecture ever since.

SPIRAL RAMPS

Inspired by the twisting ramps of New York City’s iconic Guggenheim Museum—a space made up of a quarter mile of concrete circular ramps topped with a sky light. Climbing the ramps is an experience of feeling space change, going round and round at the remarkable pace Wright has set.
