DAY 2 – National Cherry Blossom Parade and The SmithsonianThe beauty and aroma of these blossoming cherry trees will amazeas we enjoy the National Cherry Blossom Parade from reservedseats. Marching down Constitution Avenue, the parade showcasesfloats, helium balloons, international performance groups and someof the country’s finest marching bands. Later, we enjoy time to visitthe Smithsonian Institution, the world’s largest museum complexand research organization. Composed of 16 museums in Washing-ton, DC, the Smithsonian exhibits offer visitors a glimpse into itsvast collection. Numbering over 142 million objects, the complexincludes the Air & Space Museum and the National Museum of theAmerican Indian. Some of the famous exhibitions include Lind-bergh’s Spirit of St. Louis and the command module from Apollo 11.Meal: B

DAY 3 – Arlington National Cemetery and Washington, DC TouringSightseeing in our nation’s capital continues with a visit to ArlingtonNational Cemetery and the John F. Kennedy Memorial. DAY 4 – Mount Vernon EstateNo tour of colonial America is complete without a stop at MountVernon, the expansive estate of George and Martha Washington.Visit the new Ford Orientation Center and the Donald W. ReynoldsMuseum where you will have the chance to experience Washing-ton's life through movies and exhibitions. Explore his mansion filledwith 18th century treasures and stroll the gardens of this 45-acre es-tate, taking in the views of the Potomac River from the mansion’s pi-azza. Meal: B

DAY 5 – Longwood Gardens and Valley Forge National Historical ParkDeparting DC we come to beautiful Longwood Gardens. Here, hun-dreds of lush acres feature burgeoning gardens of daffodils, tulip,azaleas and more while flowering magnolias and cherry trees colorthe landscape. Don’t miss Longwood’s grand treehouses, whimsicalTopiary Garden and historic Peirce’s Woods. At Valley Forge Na-tional Historic Park, learn how General George Washington’s Conti-nental Army successfully engaged the British army at the BattleMonmouth. Meal: B

DAY 6 – Historic PhiladelphiaBegin the day at the new Museum of the American Revolutionwhich traces the history and creation of the American Republic.

Then a local guide joins us for a tour of this historic city to see theLiberty Bell, Congress Hall, Benjamin Franklin’s home and Inde-pendence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed.We’ll also visit Betsy Ross’ home for a look into the life of America’smost famous flagmaker. Tonight, a special farewell dinner in a Colo-nial Tavern tops off our trip. Meals: B, D
