General Session: 8:30 – 9:15am – DSTU Auditorium
Hillsborough Community College will celebrate its 50th anniversary in the fall of 2018. In
preparation for this occasion, I would like to engage the College and the community we
serve in creating a bold vision for HCC on a 20-year horizon. From the foundation of our
rich legacy of achievement, we will project forward a future in which HCC is on the
vanguard of higher education stemming from a reenergized role in serving Tampa Bay. It
is my intent that this exercise will further advance HCC as One College, by dissolving silos
across campuses and grounding all college processes and decisions toward a simple but
clear vision understood by every student, college employee, and the broader community.
