At the close of each worship service, the Pastor will extend an “invitation” for anyone who would like to trust Christ for salvation, become part of our church family, or make any other spiritual decision. Simply walk to him and he or another counselor will assist you with your decision. INVITATION COUNSELOR TRAINING The Spirit of God is really at work in our church and I am so grateful to God for the lives that are being changed every week as we worship together. The amount of people coming forward has demonstrated that one of our most pressing needs is for members to serve as invitation counselors. I will be con- ducting counselor training for those inter- ested in serving in this capacity on Sunday, April 6, immediately following the morning service. We will provide all attendees with lunch and the necessary materials and will finish the training by 2:30PM. Sign up at the Welcome Center by Sunday, March 30. Invitation COUNSELORS STARTING SOON! We are excited to announce that we will be start- ing a new Children’s Choir! Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, May 7 at 5:30PM. We have plans for the Children’s Choir to worship with us on select Sunday mornings as well as special pro- grams and performances throughout the year. If you are interested in being part of the new Chil- dren’s Choir, please sign up in the Welcome Cen- ter and join us at our first meeting in May. Brett Durbin, Executive Director of Trash Mountain Project, will share his inspiring story of obeying God’s call to serve the least, the lost and the forgotten children and families living in trash dump communi- ties worldwide. Bill Horn, the Worship Arts Pastor at Fellowship Bible Church in Topeka, KS, will lead our worship time. This is the group that Pastor Tim traveled to the Philippines with in Janu- ary and their message will encourage, challenge and move you. STUDENTS AFLAME SPRING BREAK EVENTS The youth of our church will be getting together during Spring Break for some fun and fellowship! On Tuesday, April 25 they will go to see the movie “God’s Not Dead.” On Thursday, April 27, they will go roller skating in Orlando.
