Grandma Sue• Sue has two children

and four grandchildren who all live in Delaware County.

• Sue’s son has two children, ages three and six years old and her daughter has two children, one is a newborn and the other is three years old.

Grandma Sue• Both of Sue’s children and

spouses have jobs and work 40 hours or more each week.

• She is married to Grandpa Joe and they are both in their early 60’s.

• Sue watches the children two to three times a week; she babysits occasionally in the evenings and also watches the children through out the week in addition to the children going to a daycare.

• She does have access to a computer at home but does not have a smart phone.

• Sue enjoys taking her grandchildren to fun community activities, such as the museum.

• Sue also enjoys listening to the radio on her free time.

• She has lived in Muncie all of her life, and is in a low income neighborhood.

• Martha is currently working a full time job in the area and takes her child to a daycare while at work; she takes the MITS bus to and from work.

• Martha does not have a computer at home, but does have access to a computer at work; she currently has a smart phone.

NEIGHBOR NANCY• Nancy is a fifty year old mother

who has one child in college and two in high school.

• She lives next door to Mom Martha and helps watch her daughter on occasion.

• Nancy has a part time job and her husband has a full time job; they live in a low income neighborhood.

WELLNESS LEADER WILLIAM• William is a forty five year old wellness leader for the

company that Mom Martha and Dad Doug’s wife works.

• He has vested interest in keeping employees happy but also follows federal regulations and tracks his bottom line.

• He runs the wellness program for the company and is in charge of disseminating health and wellness information to employees.

• One of the focuses of the wellness program is aimed at community support in Delaware County.

• William is very tech savvy and enjoys to spread information through technology.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGY:Being on the list serve he is able to get information from Muncie Before Five. He also seeks out information from the Muncie Before Five blog website and then passes the information on to his employees.
