Access to Monte Charge in BA2,BA3 and BA6
• If you require to access the Monte-charges in BA2,3 or 6, then contact me (David Mcfarlane-164247)
• If your request for access is valid then I will either contact the CSA to come and open the door for you or I will come and open it myself.
• This only concerns people who do NOT already have access rights to the Monte-charge keys located in the TRAKA box.
• This is only a temporary measure until the end of LS1
ZS (sector 231) & MST (sector 232) venting : 24 marsReplace MP 21632 : 25 marsReplace MP 21872 ??? : 25 marsTCE observation : 25-28 marsTCE new feet installation/alignement : 31 mars - 3 avrilReinstall vac chamber up/dwn TCE, pump dwn :4 avrilPompage secteur ZS-MST 4-15 avril … L’idée est de terminer les travaux avant le 4 avril afin de libérer la zone pour le tirage des câbles qui doit commencer le 07/04 .
Deadlines for Works affecting Vacuum
Our proposed deadlines are: With no vacuum support I mean no support for new equipment or modifications. BA1: No vacuum support after 29th of MarchBA2: No vacuum support after 15th of MarchBA3: No vacuum support after 15th of MarchBA4: No vacuum support (nothing in the planning requesting vacuum support).BA5: No vacuum support after 29th of March. I see a problem here. I was checking your planning and there are several BI activities planned for April in parallel with BA1 reinstallation. When did you add this activities?BA6: No vacuum support (nothing in the planning requesting vacuum support).
New cable 3.3kV electrical safety network SPS
Hello, We continue to change the cables for the new electrical safety network on the SPSThe interventions are similar with the 13th of march at the BK2 - but during all day from 7 AM to 10PM. That means nobody down the tunnel during the work. I need :one day for the BK3 – SPS3 BA3-BB3one day for the BK4 – BK5 (the same day) cause we have to cut power at the same time on both site. I will create IMPACT and Note de coupure for these and we will discuss about it on Wednesday. If you have some dates when I CAN’T cut let me know and I will schedule two dates for these jobs. thanks
Water back in serviceHi David, As discussed, below are the dates of the planned maintenance for the SPS cooling water circuits. My intention is, once the maintenance is finished, to leave all circuits running (unless the user requires otherwise – such as Septa cooling) BA1 – 09/06/14 to 20/06/14BA2 – 10/03/14 to 24/03/14BA3 – 24/03/14 to 04/04/14BB3 – 07/04/14 to 18/04/14BA4 – 07/04/14 to 18/04/14BA5 – 24/03/14 to 04/04/14BA6 – 10/03/14 to 21 /03/14ATLAS works on cooling towers (BA6 water OFFLINE) 22/04/14 to 13/05/14 I will need all the flexible hoses on the Main Magnet circuits to be replaced before the start dates of each BA to ensure that all maintenance can be completed during these periods. BA4 and BA6 are already done, BB3 not applicable, therefore BA2, BA3 and BA5 are a priority (in that order)
EPC tests of the Auxiliary Converters
With this planning, OP can start the commissioning of the Software with a 1 week delay from our activities: e.g, OP tests for BA2 could start on 9th June. What we need:• The magnet interlocks shall be tested in May by MPE (R.Mompo/P.Dahlen): support from EPC is requested during this period,
• Services shall be present in each BA in time: water (magnet + surface building), no consignation (except BA1 until end of June),
• A general signalisation that some tests are ongoing: coordination EPC/MSC,
• EIS (https://edms.cern.ch/document/991272): from past experiences, this is a difficult point for us during our tests, especially for TI2/TI8. I propose that when the planning is agreed on, Marc Tavlet will be contacted by EPC.

• Below is a table showing the dates that EL will be pulling cables at each point of the SPS.• During these periods large sections of the false floor in these surface buildings will be lifted.• Any works in the BA’s that involve lifting of the false floors MUST be reported to the Coordination team
• If you require access to racks or other equipment in the surface buildings during these periods you must check with planning first.
Engineering Change Requests• Any and all new equipment being installed in the SPS requires
an ECR BEFORE it can be installed. It must also be approved by planning and coordination.
