■■ CasingManufactured in mild steel andcoated in epoxy paint – colourRAL 9010 white.

■■ ImpellerAll models have dynamicallybalanced metal impellers for highefficiency and low noise levels.The blades are manufactured inmild steel for sizes up to 500mm and in cast aluminium forsizes 560 and 630. The hub iscast aluminium and suitable for– 30 °C to + 70 °C. The finish forsizes up to 450 is black paint,with sizes 500 to 630 in naturalaluminium.

■■ MotorExternal rotor motor with a die-cast aluminium casing, protectedto IP 54. Thermal contacts formotor protection and radiosuppression. Sealed for life ballbearings lubricated for tempera-tures from – 30 °C up to + 70 °C.

■■ Motor protectionAll models are fitted with thermalcontacts as standard whichshould be connected to a motorprotection unit (see below).The automatic resetting thermalcontacts can be used wired in

series with the motor windingsexcept the 630 size where theymust be wired into a suitableprotection unit to be effective.

■■ Electrical connectionThe plate fans have theterminals in the terminal boxfitted to the rear of the motor.

■■ GuardSPW models have motor sidewire guard fitted as standard toEN 294. Coated in epoxy paint –colour black.

■■ Speed control All models are speed controllablewith matched 5 step auto trans-former and electronic speedcontrollers listed in thetable below.
