Preamble:
Squirt360 DUAL NAND firmware introduce these nice features:
a. CHIP SELECT BY SOFTWARE: Thanks to the 4 pads expansion ports on SQUIRT we are able
to manage the NAND CHIP selection without using any SWITCH or any other tool. Squirt is
able to RESET the SOUTH BRIDGE and switch the NAND all by software
b. SWITCH OFF OF GLITCH: The switch off of glitch hack is made all by software. Is no logner
necessary to interrupt the GND!! We remember that interrupt the GND to switch off
GLITCH MODCHIPS is very very dangerous, the POWER is every time connected and the
user can damage the console because GND can exit from any other wire!!!

Material you need to perform a DUAL NAND in this tutorial:
1‐ A SQUIRT MODCHIP: Right now in the market there is GREEN SQUIRT 360 and a WHITE /
BLACK version with BGA XILINX COOL RUNNER on board… All are compatible and the
difference is only the main IC!
2‐ A NAND CLIP KIT: We use the www.360‐clip.com NAND clip.
3‐ A NAND 16 Mbytes: we used in this tutorial the NAND PCB 16 Mbyte from PROGSKEET
TEAM, the first easy to use available in the market right now and quite cheaper. Squirt
team will release soon another NAND PCB with all the pads on board.
Is also possible to adapt this tutorial for any other NAND 16 Mbyte solution! Se the
alternative in the last chapter of this tutorial.
4‐ SQUIRT PROGRAMMER: Cheaper, easy to use, full integrated with SQUIRT COOL RUNNER,
allow to manage the UPDATE of the PRIMARY and SECONDARY NAND without open the
console! Just plug the 15 PIN FCC cable and go.
We remember that if user update the ORIGINAL DASHBOARD is necessary EVER to PATCH
AGAIN the SECONDARY NAND! Remember that!
THE CE “CHIP SELECT” CONNECTION:
GENERAL NAND DIAGRAM: To performa a DUAL NAND the diagram is very simple, the GREEN
PINS of each NAND need to be connected together, ONLY the CE (chip select) pin 9 of each nand
need to be connected to SQUIRT that will perform the “nand switching” by software.
Connect Southbridge to SQUIRT (track cut) Now that we have CHIP SELECT PINS connected to SQUIRT, miss only the SOUTHBRIDGE
CHIP SELECT connection.
Normally the SOUTHBRIDGE CHIP SELECT is connected to ORIGINAL NAND, in this case we
need to interrupt a track and connect a wire to SQUIRT.
1‐ CUT the trace that go to PIN 9 of the NAND on X360, and scratch the track like the
picture.
2‐ Connect the wire on the RIGHT side of the “cut” … we need to connect SOUTH BRIDGE
to SQUIRT PAD !
3‐ Connect the Wire to the PAD 3 of the SQUIRT like the picture
Tutorial: WIRE installation of SECONDARY NAND
This tutorial use the NAND CLIP SECONDARY BOARDS and the NAND PCB PROGSKEET. We
suggest this tutorial if the NAND CLIP is not working like expected.
1‐ REMOVE the STRIP LINE from the SECONDARY NAND and connect the WIRES to the
NAND on the XBOX 360. Here there is the PINOUT of the SECONDARY PCB 360‐CLIP and
the NAND PINOUT on the console. Just connect the Wires from SECONDARY NAND to
the LEGS of the NAND of the console.
For who like there are more easy pads on the back of the console , see point 2 .
Don’t connect the PIN 9 – FCE1 – CE1
2‐ ALTERNATIVE points are present on the back of the console, more easy to be
connected the directly on LEGS. Here an example of connections.

Tutorial: CLIP installation of SECONDARY NAND
The CLIP allow to install the SECONDARY NAND to the console WITHOUT connect all the
wires on the original NAND or on the back of the console.
In this picture we show a tipical installation with NAND CLIP.
Of course the soldering of the CHIP SELECT of ORIGINAL NAND & SECONDARY NAND and
the southbridge wire should be ever connected (see previously chapters)
1‐ First thing check the side to connect the FLAT CABLE 32 PIN. The connection should be
like this picture (FCC CABLE NAND PCB on the NAND SIDE with BLUE on the bottom)
3‐ Connect the CS of ORIGINAL NAND like page 8 RED row.
4‐ Connect the CS of the SECONDARY NAND PCB like this picture (orange ROW and
alternative points on NAND PCB):
5‐ Cut the TRACE like explained in the page 6 and 7 and connect the south‐bridge wire to
SQUIRT.
6‐ Put the nand CLIP on the NAND IC of X360 and you will have a similar installation like
this picture.
THE SYNC BUTTON WIRE INSTALLATION DIAGRAM
The final step of DUAL NAND installation is connect the WIRE that is able to READ the
status of SYNC button.
The status are:
SYNC BUTTON pressed during BOOT = ORIGINAL NAND & GLITCH OFF
NO SYNC BUTTON PRESSED during BOOT = GLITCH ON and SECONDARY NAND
SYNC BUTTON pressed during TURN OFF = KEEP ORIGINAL NAND ONLINE for
PROGRAMMING
THE PROGRAMMER SQUIRT: Very important in a DUAL NAND is the NAND programming.
When the user UPDATE the ORIGINAL DASHBOARD with a new version, the FUSES
change, and is necessary to PATCH AGAIN the secondary nand.
A solution that allow an easy access WITHOUT OPEN the console to BOTH nands is the
best way… and PROGSKEET PROGRAMMER with FCC15 pin cable is the best solution in
the market.
The BIG advantage of SQUIRT is the INTEGRATION of the SQUIRT PROGRAMMER,
with the easy FCC 15 CABLE the users can READ and WRITE the INTERNAL BOTH
NANDS without OPEN the console or installing complex solutions! Just PLUG AND
PLAY!
Important!
1‐ By default SQUIRT PROGRAMMER when connected to SQUIRT with DUAL NAND
FIRMWARE is able to read and write the SECONDARY NAND. The procedure to
read the SECONDARY nand is:
a. Disconnect and Reconnect power cable (this step is necessary if chip is using
original nand before)
b. turn on the console with power button
c. turn off the console with power button
d. start using programmer to READ / write the ORIGINAL NAND
2‐ To select ORIGINAL NAND and be able to read/write it, simply:
a. Disconnect and Reconnect power cable
b. press SYNC button
c. start using programmer to READ / write the ORIGINAL NAND

your console anymore!
