Lithuanian Textile Institute was faunded in

1960 in Kaunas.

Institute is a state research and

service Centre.

From the year 2012, Lithuanian

Textile Institute was merged with

the Centre for Physical Sciences

and Technology.

To meet the needs of customers through effective work

of competent and experienced specialists.

• Clothing systems and garments for industrial

workers, PPE;

Testing of textile materials at the laboratory which i

accredited according to LST EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005

standard to carry out physical and chemical tests.

• Conformity assessment of the Personal Protective

Equipment (PPE) – protective clothing (Notified body

No.1401).

Evaluation of the ballistic properties of garments at th

shooting range.

• Textile institute can also offer an effective link to the

Lithuanian textile companies by:

� Finding companies for the cooperation;

� Organizing the seminars or practical training

courses for the Lithuanian textile companies.
