S+S metal detectors and separators detect and separate ferrous
magnetic metals as well as s tainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass,
ead and all other metals from PET granulate (new material and
recyclate), whether the m etal is coated, lacquered, insulated, embed-
ded or free. Magnetic separators are usually used for pre-s calping of
iron. They support inductive separation and reduce material loss.

Metal Detector DLSThe two piece construction DLS canbe installed on (existing) conveyorsand is most suited to inspect largermaterial streams. With VISUTEC, all processrelevant figures (such as input, output and reject quantities), are monitoredand logged.
The WLAN interface enables maintenance, fault tracing and softwareupdates via internet or telephone connection from a central computer.
