Why not make a New Years resolution that will give you graces as well as creating a loving relationship with the one who loves you unconditionally. Making a commitment each week to do an hour of ADORATION can give those blessings to us. The Catechism of the Catholic Church notes that the act of adoring God helps people focus on what is important. "To adore God is to praise and exalt him and to humble oneself, as Mary did in the Magnificat, confessing with gratitude that he has done great things and holy is his name," the catechism states. "The worship of the one God sets man free from turning in on himself, from the slavery of sin and the idolatry of the world." Maybe you can find time in the New Year of 2020

Healing Prayer Healing Prayer dates for January are: Jan 13 and Jan 27. If you need healing in body, mind or spirit, please feel welcome to come and let us pray with and for you. The group meets at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bridget’s Room. A courtesy call to Sr. D. at 602-242-1300 Ext. 121 is requested if you intend to be present.

Homebound Apostolate Parishioners, if you or any family members are unable to attend Mass due to illness or debility and would like to receive Holy Communion at home, please call the parish office at 602-242-1300. We are happy to serve you. We need more help with the Homebound Apostolate. If you feel called to serve in this way by giving an hour of your time once a week to take Holy Communion to someone who is unable to attend Mass, Sr. Dympna will provide training. Safe- Environment Training is a requirement. In this Apostolate you will be truly blessed by the joy and gratitude of those whom you serve.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

After Jesus was baptized, he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and a voice was heard, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” As we give to the poor, we also can hear these same words.

Landscaping/Maintenance Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral Phoenix

Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral is seeking a self-motivated individual for the part-time position of Landscaping/Maintenance. THE EMPHASIS WILL BE ON LANDSCAPING, but includes other duties as well. Duties include, but are not limited to: maintain landscaping, assisting with custodial duties and maintenance throughout the Church, offices, and school; assists with parish ministry and event setups; performs other position related tasks deemed necessary and/or as assigned. The position is part-time 20-28 hours per week. Generally Monday through Friday with occasional work on Saturdays and Sundays….and occasional holidays. Minimum Qualifications: Experience with all aspects of landscaping required. Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance desired. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Apostolado para el hogar Feligreses, si usted o algún miembro de la familia no puede asistir a la Misa debido a enfermedad o debilidad y desea recibir la Santa Comunión en casa, llame a la oficina parroquial al 602-242-1300. Landscaping/Maintenance Ss. Simon and Jude Cathedral Phoenix

Catedral de San Simon y San Judas está buscando un individuo motivado para el puesto de medio tiempo de Paisajismo / Mantenimiento. EL ÉNFASIS SERÁ SOBRE EL PAISAJE, pero también incluye otras tareas.
