What is Acid Rain?
Acid rain is when factories’ smoke or vehicles’ exhaust containing sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides go up into the atmosphere and come back down to earth in the form of harmful precipitation (rain or snow)
Acid rain occurs when…smoke from factories or the exhaust from vehicles - contains sulfur
dioxide and nitrogen oxides
released into the air
