INTRODUCTIONAs a push for low emission equipment begins, Kimray has met the challenge

with one of our signature products. The E-Series Glycol Pump is a positive

displacement pump that operates in conjunction with a properly sized electric

motor. No gas is required for operation of the pump.

With over 60 years of experience in the oil a gas fi eld, Kimray knew

a dependable, rugged pump was required. With the E-Series Glycol Pump,

that is what you get. With its unique diaphragm/piston design, you’ll spend

less time worrying about repairs.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE The Kimray Electric Glycol Pump is a uniquely designed positive

displacement pump. The patented diaphragm/plunger design allows it to pump

particles in suspension, leaving less maintenance for the customer. Power to

the pump is provided by a properly sized and specifi ed electric motor either

directly connected or belt driven. Plungers are used to move diaphragms,

which pressurize glycol/amine solutions used in gas processing. The

plungers are isolated from the process fl uids by the diaphragms, preventing

the normal wear other glycol pumps endure. The isolating diaphragms also

allow the plungers to remain clean and lubricated in our special Kimzoil EGP1

hydraulic fl uid designed for high end pump performance. This design allows

for the protection of the reciprocating pumping internals from the process

fl uids, giving you longer run times and less maintenance.
