The Sunshine Kids Foundation adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what Kids are meant to do...have fun and celebrate life!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to say thank you to all of our supporters, volunteers, staff and friends for their efforts in support of the Sunshine Kids Foundation. Your generosity allows us to host thousands of kids each year at events throughout the United States.

Thanks to all of you, Sunshine Kids participated in a variety of exciting, positive activities in 2019 including hospital parties, meet and greets with professional sports teams, beach outings, holiday parties and more. The kids were able to come together in a group setting to experience the joy of just being kids while creating special bonds and lifelong friends with others, their same age, also battling childhood cancer.

As always, the highlights of our year and what makes Sunshine Kids so special were our national events. These week-long trips to exciting destinations included New Orleans, Beaver Creek, Honolulu, San Marcos, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Orlando. Each national trip gave our teen Sunshine Kids a newfound freedom, independence and the knowledge that they are not alone in their struggle. For this week, they were part of a very special group of kids going through the very same things. These trips and the many events we provide each year are only made possible because of you.

Again, thank you for your support and for helping us make 2019 one of our best years ever!

2019 Spokesmen 2019 SpokesKids

Each year, young cancer patients are selected to represent Kids with cancer from across the country.We salute our 2019 SpokesKids for their support and commitment to the Sunshine Kids Foundation.

Throughout his Houston Astros career, Hall of Famer Craig Biggio has supported the Sunshine Kids Foundation. Since 2003, he has proudly served as the National Spokesperson helping to bring joy, laughter and smiles to countless Kids and their families. Together with his wife Patty, they have helped raise millions of dollars through a host of fundraising events making it possible to create more opportunities for children across the country.

J.K. Simmons has appeared in a diverse range of projects from motion pictures and television to the stage. He won the 2015 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of merciless jazz instructor Fletcher in “Whiplash,” as well as numerous other awards. He proudly wears his Sunshine Kid Pin at many of his awards ceremonies in support of Kids with cancer everywhere.

J.K. and his family have been long-time friends and supporters of the Sunshine Kids Foundation. Not only have he and his wife Michelle hosted the Kids in their home, but he has attended every activity and fundraiser his schedule has allowed.
