Check Point SSL Network Extender™ allows employees and business partners to easily and securely connect to your corporate network over SSL VPN. As an integrated com- ponent of Check Point VPN-1 ® , your SSL VPN connectivity is protected with all the security features offered by Check Point. Network-level connectivity over SSL VPN SSL Network Extender enables full network- level access over SSL, the same protocol used in online banking and e-commerce. Users can access the network through their browser by downloading a Web plug-in from a VPN-1 gateway, allowing remote users to run their native clients locally while SSL Network Extender transparently tunnels application traffic over the Web. Supports All IP-based applications Any application that runs over IP (Internet Protocol) can be used with SSL Network Extender. Remote users can run their applica- tions just as if they were inside the network. SSL Network Extender supports TCP, UDP, ICMP and dynamic applications such as FTP. SSL Network Extender supports an extensive array of networking features, including Office Mode (using internal IP addresses), split-tun- nel and route-all-traffic mode. Combined IPSec and SSL VPN solution Since SSL Network Extender is an add-on to VPN-1, organizations can support both IPSec and SSL VPN remote access with a single integrated solution.
