Twelve-year-old Milo is dealing with a lot of beginnings. It's the start of the school year and he's in a new house (number five in his life so far), a new neighborhood (with a crazy lady across the street), and a new school (seventh grade, in a junior high, no less). Then there's his evolving crush on popular girl Summer Goodman and new friendships with girl-next-door Hillary Alpert and fellow nerd Marshall Hickler.
