St Agnes Parish Annual Mass for deceased parishioners will take place on

Thursday 19th November at 7.00pm.

An invitation on will be sent out in early November to all families.

November - Month of the Holy Souls. Many people choose to abstain from alcohol for the month of

November and offer this prayerful act in honour of their deceased loved ones and for someone they know or love with

2nd November: Norms for Indulgences at the Commemoration of All Souls.

1) From 12 0’clock noon on November 1st until midnight on November 2nd, all who have confessed, received Holy Communion, and prayed for the Pope’s intentions [One Our Father, and Hail Mary, or any other prayer of one’s choice]

can gain one plenary indulgence by visiting a Church or Oratory, and there reciting one Our Father and the Apostle’s Creed. This indulgence is applicable only to souls of the departed. Confession may be made at any time within the

week preceding or the week following November 1st.

2) The faithful who visit a cemetery and pray for the dead may gain a plenary indulgence applicable to the Holy Souls on the usual conditions once per day from November 1st to 8th. The conditions mentioned above apply also to this.

Leaflet and cards of this devotion will be

available at the back of the Church.

Anam Cara is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Monday 9th of November 2015 from 19:30 to

21:30 in the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The guest speaker for the evening is Peter Hanlon.

All Anam Cara Services are available free of charge to bereaved parents.

Anam Cara will need to confirm numbers for room set up, we would appreciate if you could RSVP to

DOWN SYNDROME IRELAND are asking if you could please drop any copper coins

that you may have at home in jars into our collection drums in Bank of Ireland Branches in Ballyfermot, St Stephen’s Green (beside the Shelbourne Hotel), Drumcondra (corner of Clonliffe Rd). We also have a unit in both our charity Shops in GPO Arcade and 52 Sundrive Road, Kimmage. DOWN SYNDORME IRELAND would really appreciate your support in collecting as much copper as possible.
