March 1—First Sunday of Lent: Lent is a call to “give alms for the poor.” Wherever you live in the par-ish, there are poor families within walking distance of your home. When in need, they ring the rectory bell. They are, in effect, ringing your doorbell. Is there a family you know who needs assistance? Please call the So-ciety of St.Vincent de Paul so that together we can help the suffering and poor. Marzo 1: Primer Domingo de Cuaresma La Cuaresma es un llamado a "dar limosna para los pobres". Don-dequiera que viva usted ya sea alrededor de la parroquia, hay famili-as pobres a poca distancia de su hogar. Cuando están en necesidad, tocan la timbre de la rectoría.
