Little Hocking OH 45742 Go to http://www.KofC15569.org or WWW.stambroseohio.org Meeting Summary and Information Continue to pray for Christians being persecuted in the middle east and all over the world (including here) for their belief in Jesus Christ. The Supreme Court made another decision that will have many ramifications for US politics and religious people in this and other countries for years to come. If you want your voice heard - write or E-Mail your representatives. 17 members attended the June meeting. If you haven’t attended in a while - we have plenty of room. Our new officers are listed below. Congratulations. Wayne Fontaine is passing on the leadership for the New Hope Gardens to anyone interested. He will work with the new leader(s) Call him at 740-423-8762. If you know of any practicing catholic men who are not members invite them to share in the good works we do. The current newsletter will again be made available in the gathering space. The current Newsletter can be found on our website around the 15 th of each month. Upcoming Events and Coordination Thanks to those members who helped - With our council float for the Little Hocking July 4 parade (pictures below) - To John Rauch for inviting us all to his July 4 celebration. St. Ambrose family fun day and picnic Aug. 22 Please help !!! Starting Sat. July 18 and continuing each Saturday as needed - we will meet at the church starting around 8 am to work on the backlog of items that need to be completed for the parish, including brush removal, gravel and drainage for the new storage building, grill repair and pergola assembly and anchoring. Spring Fling - Miriam Allen sent us a nice thank you letter for the effort and the contribution to her medical expenses. We will be hosting the 4 th degree Christmas party for the area this year. It is a fund raiser for us and gives us a chance to show off the St. Ambrose facility and make ourselves better known. More to come. We have submitted our application for Kroger’s fund raising program. Once we’re sapproved people who shop at Kroger can sign up and we get a percentage of their purchase amount. Have ideas for other fund raisers? Pass these along to Al McNulty. Keep in Touch: KofC is a fraternal organization. If you are ill, in the hospital, or otherwise in need, please let a member know so we can help. We have five members who are Eucharistic ministers, you can contact them or the church also. This is especially important for officers. John Deleruyelle has volunteered to be our historian – Please send John any pictures, articles or other information that we may want to keep in our history.
