Description:
The new undergraduate travel brochure once again introduces prospective students and parents to the people of St. Ambrose, and provides critical pieces of information, from academic programming and support services to a snapshot of last year's first-year class. Admissions counselors typically hand this out during high school visits and college fairs.

{ liFe arouND ambroSe } Those who aren’t from the Quad City region

often don’t realize how much there is to see

and do. Shopping includes malls and specialty

stores. You can visit familiar restaurants like

Panera Bread or get to know a local favorite

like Happy Joe’s Pizza. Or check out our

parks and concert venues. Almost anything

you’ll want or need is nearby.

St. Ambrose’s campus is located in a residential neighborhood close to downtown Davenport. Our campus safety and security initiatives include escorts, blue cap phones and educational programs.

{ What’S the buZZ } Wondering what this whole bee thing is about? our university is named after the patron saint of learning, Saint Ambrose, who was known for his “honey tongued” speaking ability. Bees are a symbol of his verbal skill. The university’s mascot, the fighting Bee, pays homage to the saint and is the only one of its kind among college teams. Want to learn more about Saint Ambrose, the Bees and other Ambrosian traditions? Click on www.sau.edu/bees
