Pope Francis has designated the period from Corpus Christi 2020 to Corpus Christi 2021 as the Year of the Eucharist. You can support the Year of the Eucharist by doing three things. PRAY - Try to spend 15 minutes each day in prayer, reading scripture, going to Mass or par-ticipating in Adoration. PARTICIPATE - A end Year of the Eucharist events in the parish, school, shrine, campus min-istry or ecclesial community PROMOTE - Witness to the power of the Eucha-rist in your life, either formally or privately at home or with friends You can also become a Year of the Eucharist Missionary and commit formally to each of these steps. If you'd like to register with the Archdiocese as a Missionary, you can go to BostonCatholic/Yearofthe Eucharist and ll out the Missionary form.
Many thanks to you all who have o ered prayers and condolences to me on the occasion of my mother’s death on July 7. She had many times come to Masses here at St. Brendan’s and St. Ann’s and would pray for your inten-tions. Our family is saddened that she has passed on into Eternal Life so suddenly after a being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a li le over a year ago. But it is our faith in the risen Lord that gave life to all her actions and assures us that she is at peace. May eternal light shine upon my Mom. Peace, Fr. Brian
