EASTER EGG HUNT

Divine Mercy Sunday is a relatively new addition to the Roman Catholic liturgical calendar. Divine Mercy Sunday is celebrated on the Octave of Easter (the eighth day of Easter; that is, the Sunday after Easter Sunday). Celebrating the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ, as revealed by Christ Himself to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, this feast was extended to the entire Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II on April 30, 2000, the day that he canonized Saint Faustina.

Christ's Divine Mercy is the love that He has for mankind, despite our sins that separate us from Him.

ADORATION

ADORATION AWARENESS

“Were not our hearts burning within us while he

spoke to us...?" – Luke 24:32

"(Jesus) said (to Saint Juliana), as the Church progressed in time, faith in His Real Presence would diminish to the point where it would need a feast day to remind the people that He is really here. That the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ. That this is not a symbol of Jesus, but the reality of Jesus Himself. The same Jesus born in Bethlehem two thousand years ago, the same Jesus who died on the cross for our sins, and the same Jesus that rose again on Easter Sunday is really truly, bodily, personally present in the Most Blessed Sacrament."

- taken from "Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration."

Spend time with Jesus and adore His True and Sacred Presence in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. More adorers are needed and are always welcome. Adoration is available for all at the scheduled times. If you would like to sign up for a weekly Hour of adoration, please contact: Kathryn Dawson (281-351-0571) or Marty Lang ([email protected] )
