Parish Office summer hours begin this week, June 25: Tuesday – Friday 9:30am until 12:30pm
The last Sunday Hospitality for the season will be today. We will resume on Sunday, September 8.
There will be one bulletin in the months of July and August.
Sacrament Preparation First Reconciliation and First Communion Fall 2019/2020
Children in grade 2 and up will be prepared for and celebrate First Reconciliation before being prepared for and celebrating First Eucharist. There are four (4) monthly sessions and a retreat to prepare for First Reconciliation, as well as four (4) monthly sessions and a retreat to prepare for First Communion. Parents attend concurrent 90 minute sessions.
Children who have received First Communion and wish to receive the Sacrament of First Reconciliation only will join the First Reconciliation sessions in the First Reconciliation and First Communion program.
There will be a mandatory Parent only Information Session to further explain the Sacrament Preparation Program on Tuesday September 24 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The First Reconciliation session starts Sunday, October 6 at 8:45 am at the parish.
The registrations forms and complete schedule are at the back of the church, in the office and on the website. The fee is $ 50:00 to cover the cost of materials. The deadline for registration is September 18, 2019. Contact Dorothy Loucks at the parish office 403-252-1137 or [email protected].
ST. ANTHONY’S PANTRY: The Pantry is asking for volunteers who would be able to help with the delivery of food hampers, approximately 2hrs twice a month. Your time would be minor, but the feeling will be great! Please contact the Parish Office for more details. Volunteer screening is required.
ST. AUGUSTINE SCHOOL offers a half-day kindergarten program within a faith-based learning environment. A child who turns four years old on or before March 1 is eligible to attend kindergarten in the fall of that same calendar year. Now accepting registrations at the main office 7112-7th Street SW.

FR. JACK’S CHUCKLE All eyes were on the radiant bride as her father escorted her down the aisle. They reached the altar and the waiting groom; the bride kissed her father and placed something in his hand. The guests in the front pews responded with ripples of laughter. Even the priest smiled broadly. As her father gave her away in marriage, the bride gave him back his credit card.
