THANK YOU TO OUR MONEY COUNTERS!
Each week, our parishioners give generously of their treasure to
care for our church and our community. To ensure these
contributions are handled properly, a handful of number-savvy
parishioners also give of their time and talent. Each week, our
money counters organize the collection, crunch the numbers, and
take the deposits to the bank. It’s a job of much responsibility,
but with their positive attitudes and generous hearts, these folks
make it seem easy.
Thank you Mike Gavin, Albert Buss, Mike Keegan, Greg Arpin,
Terry Peterson, Anita Kernie, Bernie Korth, and John Leaming
for your faithful service in this ministry.
Three of our counters take on the collection from Memorial Day
weekend.
ADORATION THIS FRIDAY, JUNE 7
Join us immediately following the 8:00 a.m. Mass for a peaceful
time of prayer with our Lord.

From the Music Survey: Instrumentalists
The comments in the Music Survey regarding
our instrumentalists were overwhelmingly positive.
I made sure all our instrumental players know how very
much they are appreciated by this parish. We will continue to
utilize our own parish instrumentalists as often as they are
available. In addition, one of the trumpet players in our
professional quartet will be joining us for several
festival weekends during the Church year.
Many thanks to the parishioners who answered the
music survey. In the coming weeks, more information about
other items from the music survey will be shared in this space.
Do you want to deepen your knowledge of the Faith?
Do you know someone who is interested in Catholicism
and would like to learn more?
JOIN THE RCIA THIS YEAR!
Technically, it stands for Rite of Christian Initiation for
Adults, but if it helps, you may think of RCIA as the
ReligiousCIA: We investigate the mysteries of
Christianity using the evidence of Scripture, reason,
faith, and tradition. While this is the common avenue
for adults to enter the Church, our low-pressure RCIA
group is also a great place for adult Catholics to deepen
their knowledge and experience of the faith.
Our meetings won’t start until September, but feel free
to contact Ivana now to express your interest or ask
questions about the program: (509) 747-7972.
