YEARBOOK PICTURES NEEDED:

It is that time of year again, when the yearbook staff is requesting photos from the 2016-17 school year.

If you have photos from any school or class events please send them to [email protected].

FROM THE HEALTH ROOM:

Spring is in full swing and everything is in bloom. It is so nice to get outside and enjoy the beautiful

weather but with that comes the woes of seasonal allergy issues. If your child is sneezing, has a clear

runny nose, dry cough, or red/itchy/watery eyes then chances are they are feeling the effects of all of

the pollen that is in the air. Many children are visiting the Health Room with these complaints,

especially after outdoor play. Please touch base with your child’s pediatrician if you have concerns

regarding allergies. There are a variety of products including daily oral medications, eyedrops, and nasal sprays that may

help your child get through the Spring months more comfortably. Typically oral allergy medications like Zyrtec (cetirizine)

and Claritin (loratadine) should be taken once a day to prevent symptoms. FYI: Costco has brand name and generic allergy

medications available that are a fraction of the cost of the Walmart, Target, or drug store varieties.
