RCIA: St. Barnabas Catholic Community invites you to learn what it means to be Catholic, to develop a deeper understanding of the Catholic Faith through the Adult Initiation Process (R.C.I.A) Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. These sessions are for those interested in joining the Catholic Faith OR if you need to complete your sacraments of initiation – Confirmation & Eucharist, or if you would just like to learn more about your Catholic faith. ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Friday, October 6th, 2017 – 8:30am to 7:00pm Come join us for meditative prayer before Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament every First Friday of the month, star ting after the 8:00 am Mass until 7:00 pm, followed by a Mass at 7:30 pm. ROSARY PROCESSION WALK & BENEDICTION 1st Saturday, October 7th, 2017 – Immediately following the 5pm Mass Join us for a spiritual walk around our Church campus, as we recite the entire Rosary, ending with the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. (approx. 1/2 hour) ========================================= IMPORTANT REMINDER Please keep your personal belongings (i.e. purses/handbags) in sight and with you at all times during Mass. Also remember to lock your car and hide your valuables from plain sight. ========================================= LOOKING FOR ARTISTS & WRITERS! In the spirit of the Year of the Rosary, we are inviting all Kids K-3rd to participate in a special ART CONTEST. Kids K-8th can participate in our ESSAY CONTEST. The Theme is: “The Rosary” and what it means to you. Share your experiences and expressions thru art or in writing. Pick up a flyer at all the exits of the Church for all the details. We will be knitting and crocheting simple items like scarves, hats, and warm blankets to give to them. If you knit, crochet or would like to learn, we warmly welcome you to gather with us for this fun & unique ministry. Meetings will begin Tuesday evenings in the middle of October.
