Baptisms: Baptisms in English can be scheduled during or after the 5:00 pm Mass on Saturdays or during or after the 9:30 am Mass on Sundays. Parents are to make arrange-ments in person at the rectory.
Weddings: Archdiocesan Regulations require a four-month period of preparation. Couples are to make arrangements in person at the Rectory by appointment.

Cla-ses pre- bautismales (en Espańol) para los papas y padrinos se llevan a cabo cada primer domingo del mes, de las 8:00 de la mańana hasta el medio día. MERCY IN LOVE
When we who believe fix our eyes on Christ, we see first a baby who is the Son of God. The mystery of the Incarnation shows us a Jesus like us in all things but sin. He is of our family, one of us. Then, with eyes of faith we see a crucified crimi-nal who is the Redeemer of the world; but this Je-sus is isolated, abandoned by all, even by his heav-enly Father, who is pre-sent to him only in his very absence. Then, last-ly, we see an empty tomb and meet in faith a risen Lord, with a life both like ours and different, a life transformed. He is the
first of a new humanity, of which we are all called to be part. Spirit-filled, the risen Christ sends the Holy Spirit on his Church for the of sins. Mercy is love that is eager to forgive. We rely on this love that forgiveness and we thank God for it the Sunday after Easter. It is spiritually challenging to practice and preach a message of Divine Mercy in a world afraid to forgive, lest any weakness be admitted.

Kiedy my, jako ludzie wierzący kierujemy nasze oczy na Chrystusa, widzimy najpierw dziecko, które jest Synem Bożym. Tajemnica Wcielenia ukazuje nam Jezusa podobnego do Nas we wszystkim oprócz grzechu. On jest z naszej rodziny, jest jednym z Nas. Następnie, oczyma wiary widzimy ukrzyżowanego
przestępcę, który jest Odkupicielem świata, ale ten Jezus jest odizolowany, opuszczony przez wszystkich, nawet przez swego niebiańskiego Ojca, który jest obecny w nim, ale tylko w jego niezwykłej nieobecności. Wreszcie widzimy pusty grób i spotykamy się w wierze ze Zmartwychwstałym Panem, z życiem zarówno podobnym do naszego jak i innym, życiem przemienionym. On jest pierwszym z nowej ludzkości, do której wszyscy jesteśmy powołani by być Jego częścią. Napełniony Duchem, Zmartwychwstały Chrystus posyła Ducha Świętego do Swego Kościoła dla zmazania i odpuszczenia grzechów. Miłosierdzie jest miłością, która pragnie przebaczyć. Zdajemy się więc na tę miłość, która przebacza i dziękujemy Bogu za tę Niedzielę po Wielkanocy, Niedzielę Miłosierdzia Bożego. Jest ona duchowym wyzwaniem by praktykować i głosić orędzie Miłosierdzia Bożego w dzisiejszym świecie, który boi się wybaczać, gdyż jakakolwiek oznaka słabości nie jest dopuszczalna.

LA MISERICORDIA EN EL AMOR
Cuando nosotros que creemos en el arreglo de los ojos en Cristo, nosotros vemos primero un bebé que es el Hijo de Dios. El misterio de las exposiciones de En-carnación demuestra a Jesús en nosotros en todas las cosas menos el peco. Es de nuestra familia, uno de noso-tros. Entonces, vemos un crucificado que es el Redentor del mundo; pero este Jesús es aisla-do, abandonado por todo, aún por su Padre celestial, que es presen-te a él sólo en su ausen-cia. Entonces, por últi-
mo, nosotros vemos una tumba y la reunión vacías en la fe un Seńor subido, con una vida como nuestra y también diferente, una vida se transformó. Es el primer de una nueva humanidad, de que somos llamados a ser nuestra parte. Espíritu-llenó, el Cristo subido envía el Espíritu Santo en su Iglesia para el de pecados. La misericordia es el amor que está ansioso de perdonar. Dependemos de este amor que perdona y nosotros damos gracias a Dios por el domingo después de Pascua. Desafía espiritual-mente practicar y predicar un mensaje de Misericordia Divina en un mundo atemorizado para perdonar, por te-mor a que cualquier debilidad sea admitida.

Que la paz esté con ustedes. Para una familia de los suburbios, la muerte de un hijo adolescente por suicidio fracturó varias vidas de ma-neras inimaginables. El suicidio, que llega como un relámpago, es una pérdida como ninguna otra. El ase-soramiento y apoyo del Programa LOSS de Caridades Católicas ayudaron a esta familia a sanar y buscar jun-tos la paz. “Este programa es un regalo de Dios. Aún cuando a nuestra otra hija le queda un largo camino por recorrer, ahora tengo la esperanza de que hará algo más que simplemente sobrevivir. Crecerá con fuerza”. Mientras el Cristo resucitado ofrece la paz al mundo, su dona vo a Caridades Católicas el 13 de mayo, Día de la Madre, consolará a los desesperanzados y a los afligidos.

TRADICIONES DE NUESTRA FE En tiempos pasados, cuando la misa era en latín, no tenía-mos la oportunidad de escuchar en nuestra propia lengua las bellas palabras que Cristo pronunció durante la Última Cena y que el sacerdote repite durante la Consagración: "Esto es mi cuerpo". . . "Esta es mi sangre". Por tal razón los mona-guillos sonaban unas campanitas indicando que algo impor-tante estaba pasando. En ese momento los fieles levantába-mos la cabeza para ver el pan convertido en cuerpo y el vino convertido en sangre. Lamentablemente el sacerdote nos daba la espalda y no podíamos ver lo que ocurría sobre el altar. Sin embargo, respondíamos con las palabras del após-tol Tomás: "Seńor mío y Dios mío". Estas palabras reconocen y adoran la presencia de Jesús en el pan y el vino. A este momento se le consideraba el más importante de la misa. No obstante, el Concilio Vaticano II vino a enseńarnos que este es el momento cumbre, junto con toda la Plegaria Eucarística, pues toda la misa es igualmente importante, excepto que durante la Plegaria Eucarística al-canzamos el punto más alto de la celebración. Por esa razón ya no hay campanita, pues ahora escuchamos todo en nues-tro propio idioma, así como los discípulos las escucharon de Cristo, en su propio idioma.
