•2014 = 28 years working, 23 in employment large corporate environments, 5 years self employed

•Great networks equals great business success in all environments

•Never too early to start building your network

•Not just about the numbers

•Make sure you keep up with your contacts, and have a truly balanced and effective network.

•My advice to all young people has been the same for the last 3 years, start now & start early.

If I Was 22 Again!



•I wish Linked-in had been around when I was 22

• I could have kept up with all those wonderful people who helped me in my first 23 years

• Got those all important recommendations and endorsements along the way

• Documented all the great projects I got involved in during that time.

•Now its too late to backtrack as the memories fade.

•No doubt you have & will post all sorts of silly things on various social media outlets - don't worry have fun

•But use it as an opportunity to start building your employment profile

•Do let the world know all the good things you have done up to now in education, employment and all those outside activities and interests.

•Never too early to start that great network of friends, mentors, champions and connectors who will help your career (& future businesses) grow to success.
