Implementation Process:

1. Identify the first phase of development within the master plan that identifies community preferences for uses and amenities

2. Define utility infrastructure needs

3. Define the system of roads that will support East Campus development Connect to surrounding neighborhoods Meet projected area growth in the next

twenty years

4. Zone the site and obtain Historic Preservation approval for infill development

5. Build the plan

Why? - A Master Plan is required in order to:

To define where development starts and identify community preferred uses in phase 1

Understand the re-use of historic buildings and potential impacts of new development to historic resources (buildings, views, landscapes)

Identify utility and infrastructure needs to support sustainable development

Create design guidelines
