Last Friday Fr. Zach left for a priest retreat and a few days of vacation. He will return by next weekend.
Got some good news: Fr. Paul Iverson was supposed to start his assignment on July 1, but he is so eager to start his priestly ministry that he asked to start on June 15. Wow! Just in time for “Father’s Day.” He will be out for the weekend of June 27-28 to celebrate some Masses in Houston, but that’s OK since that weekend will be the last weekend for Fr. Zach and Fr. Ivan.
Please put on your calendars the evening of Sunday, June 28 as we have a reception/going-away-party/thanksgiving event for both Fr. Zach and Fr. Ivan who will be departing for their new assignments on July 1. Fr. Zach will be serving in Mary Immaculate parish in Farmers Branch; however, he will be spending the month of July in Nicaragua learning even more Spanish. Fr. Ivan will be serving in St. Pius X parish where Dallas, Garland and Mesquite meet. We will miss them tremendously! On July 1 we will receive Fr. Lauro Gonzalez.
As we celebrate the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ this weekend, I would just like to remind you about our opportunities for the Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist in our Chapel. So, after the 6:30 Spanish Mass on Tuesday evenings, we begin the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament about 7:00. Adoration follows till about 8:45 when we conclude with Benediction. Then, on Friday mornings, right after the 8:30 Mass, we begin the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament about 9:00. Adoration follows till about 9:45 when we conclude with Benediction. These are wonderful opportunities to focus upon the Eucharist in silent adoration and reflective prayer. Please notice that we offer a day time slot for those who are free in the morning and one for those who are free in the evening. All are welcome to come spend time with Jesus.

sacerdotes y unos días de vacaciones. Él regresará el si-guiente fin de semana.
Tenemos buenas noticias: El P. Paul Iverson debe-ría empezar su asignación el 1º de julio, pero está muy an-sioso por comenzar su ministerio sacerdotal y pidió comen-zar el 15 de junio. ¡Guau! Justo a tiempo para “Día del Pa-dre.” Él estará fuera el fin de semana del 27 y 28 de junio para celebrar unas Misas en Houston, pero eso está BIEN ya que ese fin de semana será el último fin de semana para el P. Zach y el P. Iván.
Por favor pongan en sus calendarios la tarde del domingo 28 de junio ya que tendremos la recepción/fiesta de despedida y agradecimiento para el P. Zach y el P. Iván quienes se irán a sus nuevas asignaciones el 1º de julio. El P. Zach estará sirviendo en la parroquia de María Inmacula-da en Farmers Branch; sin embargo, él estará en el mes de julio en Nicaragua aprendiendo más español. El P. The second annual diocesan Silver and Gold Mass is sched-

DIOCESAN SPECIAL NEEDS MASS
