St. Francis of Assisi Catholic ChurchFairfield Glade, TennesseeBy challenging the parish to dream big,
we will enable ourselves to construct a 6,000-square-foot addition to Sheehan
Hall. This project will provide our parish with additional social and meeting space, while also adding much needed storage areas. In addition to the Sheehan Hall upgrades, the Challenge Goal will give us an opportunity to add a 600-square-foot addition to the existing church office. The office project will provide additional offices, conference and meeting rooms, and storage space.
Plans include:• Doubling the capacity of Sheehan Hall to
roughly 300. This would greatly increase the space for parish social functions. A second level below Sheehan Hall would provide meeting facilities for 60-70 individuals. It would also provide for additional storage and a ground-level entrance and egress into the building from the parking lot.
• Providing storage for PPC committees and organizations, CCW, music, blanket, kitchen, social, worship and liturgy, Knights of Columbus and environmental for banners, flower stands, crosses, pictures, seasonal (crèche, Easter), etc.
• Adding on to the existing parish office to bring all parish employees under one roof. This will increase office, meeting and storage spaces.
• Renovating of the current church worship space, with potential to upgrade the altar, carpeting, choir area and more.
