Dear Parishioners and Friends, Peace and Blessings! . Happy Mother’s Day! Our special prayers go out to all of you who have been blessed with the incredible gi of motherhood. Special prayers for our deceased Mothers, Mothers who have lost a child, and that our Mothers be strong in their God given voca on. We are pleased to welcome Bishop Saporito to our parish this weekend as he celebrates the 5:30 Mass for us. Welcome and blessings on your new call as Bishop. This week we will officially begin our new Young Adult Group. Adults in their 20’s and 30’s are invited to join us in the parish hall for a fact-finding mee ng and help us lay the groundwork. Enter the side door by the friary. Because of the expected size of the group, we will have plenty of room for social distancing and of course wearing a mask. This reading of John’s Gospel, words are spoken before Jesus’ Crucifixion. We read his instruc on to the disci-ples in light of his death and Resurrec on. We know that Jesus himself gives us the greatest example of the kind of love and service that he teaches to his disciples. He has, in fact, laid down his life for his friends, for his disciples, and for us. Through his death and Resurrec on, we have received the grace to love others as Jesus has commanded. In His Peace,

Oraciones especiales por nuestras madres fallecidas, madres que han perdido un hijo y que nues-tras madres sean fuertes en la vocación que Dios les dio. Nos complace dar la bienvenida al Obispo Saporito a nuestra parroquia este fin de semana mientras celebra la Misa de las 5:30 para nosotros. Bienvenida y bendiciones por su nuevo llamado como obispo. Esta semana comenzaremos oficialmente nuestro nue-vo Grupo de Jóvenes Adultos. Los adultos de entre 20 y 30 años están invitados a unirse a nosotros en el salón parroquial para una reunión de inves gación y ayudarnos a sentar las bases. En-tra por la puerta lateral del convento. Debido al tamaño espera-do del grupo, tendremos mucho espacio para el distanciamiento social y, por supuesto, para usar una máscara. En esta lectura del Evangelio de Juan, las palabras se pronuncian antes de la crucifixión de Jesús. Leemos sus instruc-ciones a los discípulos a la luz de su muerte y resurrección. Iglesia. Las confesiones serán cara a cara, se usarán másca-ras y, si es una línea, recuerde 6 pies de distancia. La línea se formará en el pasillo junto a la Santísi-
