New Parishioners: Please fill out a registration form in the back of church or

online.

Baptism: Parents must contact the Parish Office at least 3 months prior to the

Baptism for complete guidelines.

School of Religion: Religious Formation for youth Pre-K thru high school. CCD

is held on Sundays at 9:00am during the school year.

Marriage: Please contact the Pastor at least (6) months prior to your anticipated

wedding date for complete details.

Sick/Shut-In: Please inform the parish office when someone is sick, shut-in or

hospitalized.

Funeral: Please contact the Parish Office ONLY before making any arrange-

ments with a funeral home.

Our Annual May Procession and May

Crowning will take place on Mother’s Day,

Sunday, May 13, 2018 during the 10:30am

Mass. We will Crown Mary, the Mother of

God as the Queen of Heaven. We invite

family and friends to share in this devotion,

and we ask all parishioners to bring flowers

from their gardens or a florist to present to

the Blessed Mother.

We will celebrate the Sacrament of Confir-

mation on Saturday, May 19, 2018 during

the 4:00pm Vigil Mass. Archbishop Alfred

Hughes is the Presider for the Confirmation

Mass.

**Confirmation Candidates and their spon-

sors should assemble in the Conference

Room no later than 3:30pm.

A reception will be held in honor of the new-

ly Confirmed immediately after the 4:00pm Mass. The entire Parish Fami-

ly is invited to the reception.

Flowers: Anyone who would like to do-

nate fresh altar flowers on a certain week-

end in memory of a loved one or for a

special occasion (birthday, wedding, an-

niversary, etc.) may do so by contacting the parish office

at least two weeks prior to the event.

Archbishop Lyke Conference Information

St. Gabriel will cover 50% of the $150 registration fee for any

REGISTERED PARISHIONER who is active in Parish

Ministry. The registration fee includes meals, conference t-

shirt, conference bag and a program. All Lyke Conference

Registration forms and $75 must be submitted to Marilyn in

the Parish Office no later than Monday, May 14, 2018 to guar-

antee your registration for the event. Make Checks or Money

Orders!

Plantation Tour: Whitney Plantation Tour, Saturday,

May 19th at 8:30am. Join the St. Dominick and St. Ga-

briel Social Justice Ministries Tour and discuss the histo-

ry of slavery and its current implications. Sign-up sheet

will be available from Sunday, April 29, 2018-Sunday,

May 13, 2018. The cost is $20 per person. Volunteer
