75th Anniversary

Glory to Jesus Christ!Glory Forever!Blessed is our God who 75 years ago established in this local community an Orthodox Church and placed it under the protection of His Beloved Great Martyr and Trophy Bearer George. We are humbled that God has blessed us to serve as His Priest and Deacon during our 75th anniversary celebration this year. We thank God He has allowed us to be instructed and taught by the faithful people who make this fruitful vine their spiritual home!We are further humbled and energized that during our recent 2010 Pilgrimage to the Holy Land, on the very day we arrived, we were blessed to enter the city where our most beloved and revered Saint George is buried. Blessed to enter the “First-Church” of St. George in Lydda and to descend into the crypt beneath the church, reverence his tomb and be anointed with oil from the vigil lamp over it!It is this same love and reverence for Saint George and for God who strengthened him that has given Michael and Nancy Silpoch the humility and energy to dedicate themselves to the hundreds of hours of effort that have made the creation of this beautiful Pictorial Directory possible.
