Please answer a couple of questions about your experience of our Parish in
,, , the last year. We are going to use an '\

online form to ask a couple of ques-; I tions every couple of weeks for the: \ next couple of months or so. Please
have a look at the first two questions here. Paper copies are available at the back of Church. Or simply email your comments to the parish office at [email protected] .uk.
Dear Parishioner,
This Sunday there is a Diocesan collection in favour of
PETER'S PENCE. Peter's Pence is a worldwide collection that supports the activities of the Holy See through which Pope Francis governs the Church and exercises his charitable works. When used for charitable outreach, funds from this collection help those most in need. Take this opportunity to join with Pope Francis and be a sign of mercy. For more information, click here
There are many calls on our support through various Diocesan collections to help the mission of the Diocese and of our Catholic Church in England and Wales and beyond. Once a year, with the permission of the Bishop, we can welcome to our parish someone from a missionary group of either Sisters or Priests and Brothers to make the Annual Mission Appeal. Next weekend Sister Ann Ugho, of theDaughters of Divine
Love, will visit our parish and speak at each Mass to inform us
of her Community's mission and to appeal for our support. The Daughters of Divine Love are an international religious congregation, founded in Nigeria in 1969. The Sisters came to England in 1989 and have Convents in around the country. Their charity home in Nigeria provides care for orphans, abandoned children, street children/teenagers and children with special needs. Their aim is always to serve the less privileged and the marginalised. Please come to Church next week ready to support the work of the Daughters of Divine Love as Sr. Ann makes the annual mission appeal.
Have a great week, yours, Fr. Chris
