As part of the Year of Mercy, the Diocese of Calgary invites you to re-discover the meaning of the sacrament of Reconciliation in your life. In addition to the regular parish schedule, the sacrament of Reconciliation will be available at parishes throughout the Diocese of Calgary all the Wednesdays of
Advent from 7:30 – 8:30pm.
December 6th: Second Sunday of Advent
When we go out to meet others we take care to
put on the right clothes, wash our face, style our
hair, and look our best. John the Baptist looked
rough on the outside but the message of Jesus
was heard through his words and actions. All who
have been baptised have a responsibility to
proclaim the Gospel and witness the Christian
life. This Advent, consider not only your physical
appearance but whether your words and actions
set an example of Christian discipleship for
others to follow. The sacrament of reconciliation
is an opportunity to prepare the way of the Lord
by preparing ourselves to be more authentic
witnesses to the Gospel. Action: This week, go
proclaim the Gospel with your actions. Become
an agent of love; do a random act of kindness. "The Christmas Liturgy Schedule is now available. All ministers are asked to sign their names where they can help. The deadline is December 15th."
Let us welcome, into our parish community, Kacey Oliver, who received the Sacrament of Baptism today and Priya Daniel who was baptized Nov 7th.
Congratulations & God’s Blessings!

Children’s drawings are always appreciated as well as notes wishing the recipient, God’s blessings, during the Christmas season. When socks are ready, gather as a family and say a prayer for the person that will receive your Sock of Joy. Then bring the sock to church and deposit in the collection basket. Cons of a shortfall: funds come from general donations and is assessed 12% by Diocese. To reach our goal of $45,064, a contribution of $20 per family would get us there! Please consider supporting this worthy appeal.
