When you donate to SVdP the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit allows you to receive dollar-for-dollar for tax credit. This you can receive a credit of up to $800 when filing a joint tax return, or up to $400 when filing a single return. Please prayerfully consider assisting the least of your brothers by using this as part of your year-end tax strategy.

Benefit

We all heard of some of the financial challenges our Parish faced last fiscal year. One of the ways YOU could increase your sup-port of the parish is through the Scrip and Benefit gift card programs. Your planned purchases can be an extra bonus for St James. Whether it’s iTunes gift cards for teens, Home Depot for dads or gifts of dinner out, plan on purchasing your gift cards from St James and the Parish will gain monies at no extra cost to you. Shopping at Walmart or Toys R Us for gifts? The Benefit App will allow you to almost instantaneously to buy an e gift card on your smart phone for many retailers to pay for your pur-chase. Again, St James will gain funds at no cost to you. This Par-ish belongs to each and every one of us. Without investment of time and treasure from each one of us, the Parish will never meet its potential. Let’s all work together to make St James financially secure and the very best it can be.

Our Catechists are volunteers that lead others in understand-

ing the faith teachings according to the official teachings of the

Church, the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Please stop by

to thank them for their service.
