50 Rosaries and scrolls for First Eucharist and 75 Pins and scrolls for Confirmation have been given to the schools for distribution to participants involved.
2 Grade Twelve scholarships of $400 each have been awarded at the ECS Awards night to Breanne Van De Woestyne and Harley Doerr.
Welcome to our 2 newest members, Susan Bath and Anita Le Nouail. Susan was installed at Mass preceding our pot luck supper and appreciation evening on June 4. The register was signed by 46 Ladies and our two Priests. Pins in recognition for years of membership were presented to- Elaine Wempe- 10 years Eileen Coppicus- 25 years Laura Baryluk and Jean Brittin- 40 years Mary Lou Audet and Patricia Parent- 50 years and certificates were presented to Bella Ganje and Mary Martin-Drader for 55 years of service. Following the presentations, Ella Messer entertained us with a few selections on the piano. Thank you to all who helped set up and decorate, work in the kitchen, clean up after supper and to those who helped in any way. Thank you to all who brought food and came out to enjoy the evening.

11th Sunday in Ordinary Time
In today’s Gospel we encounter the Pharisee who is rather inhospitable to Jesus. He doesn’t seek Jesus’ friendship. And yet the unknown woman who appears is quite eager to be where Jesus is and to show him her tremendous gratitude. She does some extraordinary things: She gets down by Jesus’ feet, and, weeping, she wets his feet with her tears and wipes them with her hair! She even kisses his feet and anoints them with some perfumed oil. The woman lavishes her love and appreciation for Jesus. Christian stewards show their love for Jesus in tangible ways every day. Others don’t really seek his friendship. Who are we more apt to be like in

We had a wonderful year at
Youth Group this year. Thank you to Jessica Bath for helping
at every meeting. Thank you to everyone who attended the
meetings. We had lots of fun and learned more about our faith. Youth
Group will begin in the fall again. Have a wonderful, fun, relaxing, and

Your child’s baptism is a time for celebration and joy. We want to help you plan and prepare for the Baptism in the best possible way. The next Baptism Prep will be on Thursday, June 20 at 7pm at the Church Auditorium. Baptism Preparation is a prerequisite to Baptism. The next Community Baptism will be on Sunday, June 23rd at 2pm. Please contact Connie at the Parish Office to register for Baptism Prep or the Community Baptism.

The United Way Day of Caring was on Wednesday, June 5. Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s students took part by coming to the Church to help with the Spring Cleaning. Thank you to the students for all their hard work. Thank you to the ladies of the Church who organized and cleaned with the kids. The church looks amazing.

Communion celebrations beautiful. Thank you to Father Juanito
for the inspiring homily and for helping with the classes. Thank
you to Father Peter for building a relationship with the
candidates through the schools. Thank you to those who did
hospitality, were lectors, read the Prayers of the Faithful, were
communion and cup ministers, and altar served. Thank you to
Music Ministry for the wonderful music, thank you to the helpers
who made celebrations go so smoothly. Thank you to the
candidates and their families. The time of
preparation took their commitment and they
stepped up to this with enthusiasm. Thank you to
the CWL for serving at the celebration socials.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Contemporary Masses this year. Thank you to Evanne Wilhelm and Matt Shuya and the Youth Choir for sharing their amazing talents with us. Thank you to everyone who was a
hospitality host, lector, altar server, communion or cup minister. We couldn’t have done this without you. The Contemporary Masses will resume in the fall.
